GOVERNMENT BY LAW, NOT BY MEN
Law is blind. Therefore every person subject to the established laws are treated equally, and are ensured stability as they are not subject to the whims of man.Law is not a list of restraints or prohibitions, but a protection for lawful citizens. Laws are to be stable and relatively permanent. Obviously laws can be enacted that restrict liberty, though. These laws are hopefully remedied quickly.
